The "registration" portion of this website will be closed on Friday, July 9th. Please make sure you have registered by the deadline date if you are attending.
Greetings on behalf of the American Electric Power (AEP) Boiler Reliability Optimization (BRO) Forum 2010 Planning Committee!
You are invited to participate in the AEP BRO Forum 2010, scheduled July 27th-29th in the newly constructed Battelle Grand in the Greater Columbus Convention Center (http://www.columbusconventions.com/photo_gallery.aspx?galleryid=123). "Improving Performance with Technology" is this year's theme, with a continued emphasis on new boiler technologies and process improvements. This forum is by invitation only and closed to general public registration.
Hundreds of AEP employees, vendors, and guest utility representatives gathered for last year's event to share cutting edge industry knowledge. A Vendor Expo of over 150 vendor booths and breakout conference sessions provided an information venue for a plethora of boiler subject matter experts. This year's event includes even more networking and information sharing opportunities.
Please note:
-
Vendors may set up on Monday, July 26th from 2-5pm and Tuesday, July 27th from 8am-11am. Tear down is scheduled for Thursday, July 29th from 7am-12pm.
-
Registration and payment are separate for the Forum. Please register on the site AND fill out the payment form. At that time a booth will be assigned for your company.
-
Only Pallet Jacks can be used this year (no forklifts) due to weight limitations and carpeting.
-
All vendors must pay for their own electricity this year. The maximum amount of electricity that each booth will hold is 500 watts. Please refer to the Electrical Service Form located in the "Events and Details" tab and scroll down to "Downloads & Links".
-
AEP Retirees are welcome to attend the BRO Forum and receive PE Credits.
Interested in earning PE Credits to renew your Professional Engineering License? The AEP BRO Forum provides a great opportunity to gain those needed credits while learning new and exciting information in the world of boilers. The General Chemistry Break-Out Session, Boiler and Chemistry Roundtables, Scrubber Chemistry Session and all Forum general sessions, along with the HRSG Conference, Pulverizer Conference and Critical Piping Forum will be worth continuing education credits. More information will be available on the website soon.
To help the planning committee manage forum funds efficiently, please RSVP only at http://www.aepevents.com if you plan to attend; additionally, please make sure you indicate which sessions you’re going to attend so we’ll have plenty of materials on hand. For those of you that need electricity in your booth, please click on the below "Electrical Service" link and mail to the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
We look forward to your RSVP by June 26th and seeing you in July for another exciting and informational Forum.
